Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is widely acknowledged for its efficacy, yet it encounters significant challenges when addressing chronic pain and trauma. In these cases, the brain undergoes structural and functional changes that hinder the effective "saving" of information. It's as if the brain struggles to "click save" in the same way it would in normal circumstances.


Scientific studies have revealed that practicing mindfulness-based brain exercises before and during CBT can make a substantial difference in treatment effectiveness. Integrating mindfulness with CBT enables the brain to "click save" more effectively, resulting in a significant reduction in relapse rates. This holistic approach caters to the specific needs of the brain in cases of chronic pain and trauma, enhancing the quality and longevity of therapeutic outcomes.
