About the Event

Brain Science and Deep Rest


Understanding how the brain works is a fundamental element of our work at the Organizational Mindfulness Network. We'll see that deep rest practices don't work because we "believe", but because the brain is changing in predictable ways through the process.


What We'll Explore


In this Lab, we'll see how Yoga Nidra and NSDR move us systematically through sensory and brain wave changes using techniques that bring attention to our physical body, our breath, our emotions, and the full awareness of experience.


We'll also experience a traditional Yoga Nidra guided practice, reflect together on the experience, and explore ways we can bring deep rest into our daily routines.
