Public Training
Neuroscience is redefining how we develop human capabilities. We now know that qualities once thought to be immutable—focus, empathy, and adaptability, for example—are, in fact, trainable mental skills.
IOSM programs translate this new science into practical methods for improving leadership, well-being, and performance.
Offerings include open-enrollment Certificate Courses in Organizational Mindfulness, Neural Leadership, and Neural Wellbeing—the IOSM Certification Program for Facilitators and Teachers—and a continuing series of Neural Skills Workshops.

We’re taught to memorize, calculate, and retrieve information through explicit learning. But the brain learns mental and emotional skills through implicit experience. Conventional training can teach us about human skills — but only embodied neural training can activate and operationalize them.

Certificate Courses
IOSM Certificate Courses are flagship 8-week programs that integrate live, interactive instruction with self-directed study. Each combines expert-led classes, guided neural practices, and structured access to supporting research and resources.
Courses are available for individuals and teams through public and organizational training—and each are approved as a pre-requisite for IOSM Facilitator and Teacher Certification.

Organizational Mindfulness teaches traditional principles and practices through a rigorously secular, all-science lens. It is a new mindfulness-based intervention (MBI) for personal and team performance.

Neural Leadership teaches the neuroscience and neural practices that develop human skills for effective leadership. These are the mental and emotional capabilities most correlated with leadership success.

Neural Well-Being not only treats the symptoms, but goes to the root causes of distress, disengagement, and burnout. It teaches effective neural practices for changing mindsets, habits and behaviors.

Training mental and emotional capabilities for the workplace requires a new teaching skillset, and a curriculum that integrates traditionally explicit methods of skills training with the procedural neural exercises that embody and activate them.

IOSM Certification Program
IOSM Certification builds the capabilities to practice, facilitate, and teach Organizational Mindfulness and related neural training methods that improve individual and organizational performance.
Certified Facilitators, Teachers, and Teaching Partners gain advanced knowledge in the science of neuroplasticity and procedural learning—and apply it through unique training programs that strengthen human skills across teams and organizations. In an era of AI integration, these are the capabilities that define effective leadership and workforce performance.

Facilitator Certification is a 12-week program (including the pre-requisite 8-week certificate course). Graduates are qualified to integrate neural training principles and practices in their work.

Teacher Certification is a 16-week program (including the pre-requisite 8-week certificate course, and 4-week Facilitator extension). Graduates are qualified to create and teach programs based on the Organizational Mindfulness MBI.

Teaching Partners are Certified Teachers who are licensed to independently sell and teach the IOSM-branded curriculum—including certificate courses, workshops, classes and series—to their organizational clients.

Our mental and emotional capabilities are rooted in our neural circuitry. So, we're suddenly facing an urgent human skills gap that can't be closed with explicit-only (lecture, books, videos) learning methods. We must teach our people to train their brains.

Neural Skills Workshops
Public workshops are designed for individuals and teams. Each two-hour session explores an essential human capability—such as managing stress, sustaining attention, building trust, or regulating emotions—and teaches neural methods for developing them.
Participants gain scientific insight and direct experience, leaving with practical solutions that solve problems in the moment and strengthen performance over time.

2026 Well-Being Series

The Neuroscience of Well-Being starts with a foundational understanding of the evolved brain—how it adapts to modern reality, how it interprets and navigates the world, and how it automates our lives.
Tuesday, July 21 - 12pm ET / 9 am PT

Creating a Positive and Growth Mindset teaches the brain that IQ and EQ are trainable skills, rather than fixed and immutable—traits—and that sustained effort is the key to mastery.
Thursday, March 19 - 12 pm ET / 9 am PT

Resolving Stress, Anxiety and Burnout are literally killing us. On the way, they are creating pain and discomfort, diminished mental capabilities, and a range of uncomfortable, unpleasant emotional challenges.
Wednesday, September 23 - 12 pm ET / 9 am PT

Navigating Change and Uncertainty are critical skills in the face of now—constant disruption. Our brain’s evolved reaction is first fear, then resistance that impairs our abilities to accept, adapt, and intentionally act.
Thursday, May 20 - 12 pm ET / 9 am PT

Regaining Focus and Attention Control is foundational to nearly every other mental process—and to every leadership and work pursuit. Without attention, our productive capabilitabilities are severely diminished
Wednesday, November 18 - 12 pm ET / 9 am PT
2026 Leadership Series

Science of Neural Leadership teaches the neural systems that shape our human qualities—the science of neural training—and practices that develop essential mental and emotional leadership skills.
Thursday, February 19 - 12pm ET / 9am PT

Cultivating Emotional Intelligence is not a conventional course about EQ. It teaches the activation of neural networks for deeper self-awareness, emotional regulation, empathy, and compassion.
Thursday, August 20 - 12 pm ET / 9 am PT

Creating Psychological Safety teaches neural skills that signal safety, and inspire the confidence to speak up, take risks, and share ideas without fear. Safety encourages greater candor, connection, and collaboration.
Thursday, April 23 - 12 pm ET / 9 am PT

Practicing Agile and Adaptive Leadership keep us grounded while navigating constant change. This requires situational awareness, agility, and neural flexibility—the abilities to assess, pivot, and act in real time.
Wednesday, October 21 - 12 pm ET / 9 am PT

Building Mental Strength and Resilience in a world of overwhelm and burnout is a measure of our capacity to persist and thrive. It is a fusion of vital skills—from self-awareness to self-care and recovery.
