A Year of Neural Training for Personal and Professional Development

Changing the Brain

We’re all exposed to record levels of stress, uncertainty, exhaustion, and burnout. At the same time, AI is complicating our lives and work, disrupting our status quo, and demanding more effort, not less.

The answer is not to pedal even faster, do more, or push old code farther into mental and emotional overload, stress, and failure. We need to change the operating system. We need to learn to train our own neural networks, just as AI engineers train artificial ones.

Fortunately, advances in neuroscience and AI research are giving us a greater understanding of how the brain works—and practical ways to intentionally change it. We can learn to recognize our triggers and automatic responses, and use established neural practices to develop and reinforce new patterns.

Interrupt Autopilot and Cultivate Awareness

We spend much of our lives on autopilot, acting from habit and nonconscious mental models rather than conscious choice. In this Challenge, we learn to recognize the internal cues that signal automatic or emotional reactions, bring conscious awareness back online, observe unconscious patterns, and regain the ability to choose what happens next.

Starts Monday, February 1, 2027 — 12:00 PM ET

53533411-image.jpg

Create a Positive and Growth Mindset

Setbacks, uncertainty, and failure trigger self-doubt, fear, perfectionism, and limiting stories about what we can do. In this Challenge, we bring those underlying narratives into awareness, challenge and reframe them, strengthen constructive self-talk, and build greater confidence, emotional flexibility, and resilience.

Starts Monday, March 1, 2027 — 12:00 PM ET

Scale Personal Impact and Productivity

Constant alerts, shifting priorities, and nonstop demands fracture our attention and consume our mental energy. In this Challenge, we identify where attention and energy are being lost, reduce distraction and unnecessary cognitive switching, establish clearer priorities, and build the concentration needed to accomplish more of what matters.

Starts Monday, April 5, 2027 — 12:00 PM ET

35f28a67-image.jpg

Operate in Deep Engagement and Flow

Flow is a powerful state of peak engagement in which attention becomes fully absorbed, distractions recede, and we perform at the edge of our capabilities. In this Challenge, we practice creating the conditions that lead to flow—including deeply focused attention, clear goals and feedback, and the critical balance between challenge and skill.

Starts Monday, May 3, 2027 — 12:00 PM ET

Unlock Creativity and Innovation

Habitual thinking and familiar assumptions keep us returning to familiar solutions. In this Challenge, we practice interrupting automatic patterns of thought, strengthening divergent thinking, shifting perspectives, creating space for creative association and insight, and turning new possibilities into ideas that are both novel and useful.

Starts Monday, June 7, 2027 — 12:00 PM ET

Education Members Only

Reprogram Limiting Beliefs

Old and often inaccurate beliefs and unconscious biases shape what we perceive, the choices we make, and what we believe is possible—without our awareness. In this Challenge, we identify these patterns, challenge automatic interpretations and choices, disrupt harmful assumptions, and strengthen mental frameworks grounded in present reality, chosen values, and greater possibility.

Starts Tuesday, July 6, 2027 — 12:00 PM ET

Education Members Only

Change Habits and Behaviors

The brain is built to automate repeated behaviors and favor what is familiar, which is why unwanted behaviors can persist even when they’ve become painful and unwelcome. In this Challenge, we identify and interrupt our cue-behavior-reward loops, reduce the payoff of old behaviors, replace them with meaningful alternatives, and embed new habits through repetition.

Starts Monday, August 2, 2027 — 12:00 PM ET

9df66318-image.jpg

Develop Interpersonal Effectiveness

Unregulated emotions can narrow our focus and distort feedback; poor interpersonal sensitivity can create conflict and break trust. In this Challenge, we strengthen our ability to understand ourselves, read and understand others, regulate our responses under pressure, communicate skillfully, and navigate difficult interactions more effectively.

Starts Tuesday, September 7, 2027 — 12:00 PM ET

Education Members Only

Increase Influence to Mobilize Others

Influence determines whether people listen to our ideas, engage with them, and ultimately act. In this Challenge, we strengthen the behaviors that build credibility, trust, empathy, and reliability—expanding our ability to influence without positional authority and mobilize people around ideas and action.

Starts Monday, October 4, 2027 — 12:00 PM ET

Education Members Only

Cultivate Gratitude and Appreciation

Our attention naturally gravitates toward problems, threats, unfinished work, and what is missing, while much of what supports us goes unnoticed. In this Challenge, we deliberately counterbalance that tendency—training ourselves to notice, experience, and express what we value, so that appreciation becomes an active practice rather than an occasional feeling.
