NSHP Graduates
Neural Skills for Human Performance (NSHP) is the foundational 8-week course that teaches the neuroscience, neural practices and applications for personal effectiveness, leadership and work. You can experience it as a standalone course, or as the first 8 weeks of your certification path.
If you’ve successfully completed the NSHP course and exam, you are eligible to advance to Coach and Teacher certifications. If not, we encourage you to learn more about the course below.
Neural Skills Practitioner
Practitioner Certification is the first level of the IOSM Neural Skills pathway. It introduces the new science of the modern brain—how neural patterns shape how we think, feel, respond, relate, and perform; how to recognize those patterns; and where and how to intervene to change them.
Participants learn to manage their own brain more effectively—strengthening focus, emotional regulation, adaptability, judgment, relationships, resilience, and performance. They leave with practical neural skills they can use every day in life and work, a professional credential in an emerging field, and the foundation to continue into Coach or Teacher Certification.

Certified Practitioner
NSHP graduates earn the Certified Neural Skills Practitioner designation and receive an official certificate, digital badge, and listing in the IOSM Neural Skills Professionals Directory.
Practitioners are eligible to advance to IOSM Coach and Teacher Certification, immediately following, or in a later cohort.
Graduates also earn 17 ICF Continuing Coach Education (CCE) credits and 12 SHRM Professional Development Credits (PDCs) for eligible professionals.
