Our guest today is Dr. Michael Gervais, who is one of the world's top high performance psychologist. His clients include world record holders, Olympians, internationally acclaimed artists and musicians, and VPs from every major sport, and fortune 100 CEOs. He is also the founder of finding mastery, a high performance psychology consulting agency, the host of the finding mastery podcast, and the CO creator of the performance Science Institute at the University of Southern California. He recently released a book, The first rule of mastery, stop worrying about what people think of you, which is out now and what we're here today to talk about. So welcome, Michael. So happy to be here with you. Thank you for hosting, excited to have you. I want to start with the book, you've you know, you've obviously had a long career, you've done podcasts, you've done one on one coaching, you've worked with NFL teams, but this is a very different medium. So why and tackle book why now? And how did you come up with this concept to bring to the world?
