Welcome to Talks at Google. I am Daniela Penny, from the Google people operations team in Singapore. The last three years, I've really tested how organizations work around the world. Almost overnight, we saw companies transitioning to a remote working model. And then after a couple of years of trials and errors to a hybrid working model, and companies are still testing what works best for them. In the tech industry in particular, we can read in the business and tech magazines, headlines, CEOs debating about productivity.

Our CEO Sundar Pichai discussed about the need for Google to focus on productivity. Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO Mehta said that the company will need to raise the bar or performance management to ensure that productivity increases in the company. The CEO of Microsoft, Satya Nadella, discussed about the productivity paranoia. And now managers and ice have verydifferent views about what working model works best.
