Hi, this is Anishka. You might have been hearing about Coronavirus or Covid 19 and how it's been declared, a pandemic so of concern to all of us all over the world. You also may have heard about various suggestions or recommendations to help yourself not get sick and to stop spreading the virus. So some of the things are not touching your face.

Social distancing or avoiding being around a lot of people and making sure that if you feel sick, you stay isolated and stay at home. You might also have heard that the risk for healthy individuals is not that great. It might sound like it feels like the flu or bad cold, but actually the biggest risk is to those who are elderly or who have some underlying health.

So in some ways this pandemic is an opportunity for us all to practice care and not just for ourselves, but for those around us. Even if we're not as worried about how this might impact your own health. If you feel like Micah, be sick for a couple weeks and I'll recover. The impact on the larger society could be much more to your friends, your neighbors, your family members.

We have to think collectively about this, that the health systems can be overwhelmed if a lot of people get sick at the same time. So considering not just what would be a risk that we would want to take ourselves, but what will contribute to the wellbeing of all, and it's good to consider this, to appreciate one's own good intentions when you're making a choice to not attend some larger function.

When you're washing your hands, or if you're sick when you're staying inside, even if you feel okay enough to wander around a little bit. So something like a virus like this really brings to the forefront that we're all connected to each other. This virus doesn't discriminate based on your passport or gender, how much money you have.

All of us as living human beings are suscept. And it brings to our heart to care for each other in a way that maybe we don't usually consider. So as an opportunity during this unusual time to practice our care for each other, our goodwill meta, and appreciating in our hearts, those who are doing the same for ourselves and for our families.
