What Are We Teaching?
Bringing mindfulness into the modern organization is a unique discipline that requires specialized knowledge and professional skills. As corporate mindfulness matures, the legal challenges are going up, and companies are demanding more science, more consistency, and more reliable outcomes. What's needed is a new gold standard course that is rigorously secular, all-science, connected to organizational objectives, and built from the ground up for the diverse, modern enterprise.
Companies Don’t Fund Meditation Training
Organizations are generally not interested in providing deep, traditional meditation training to the workforce. First, there are may be sticky cultural, religious, and legal issues - but more importantly, the company doesn’t need to have a factory floor of dedicated 2-hour a day meditators, in order to significantly improve the quality of their employee's lives, and so improve the quality of their products, services, and relationships.
But Everyone Needs Mental and Emotional Skills
Especially now, as our leaders and workforce alike are experiencing unprecedented levels of stress and burnout, companies must invest in mental fitness for personal performance. Mindfulness is the most effective set of mental and emotional skills known for managing stress, anxiety, depression, and burnout - and for developing cognitive and emotional intelligence capabilities. The Organizational Mindfulness Teacher certification focuses through an all-science lens on these applications, and on the practices that cultivate them.
OM Teacher Certification
