Good afternoon, everyone, and welcome to this Talks at Google virtual events. My name is Caitlin Vanessa and I recruiter here at Google. I'm so excited that I have an opportunity to interview and learn more about the wonderful seeker that we have today. Before we get started, I do want to remind the audience that we'll be taking questions towards the end of the talk. So as you think of questions throughout the conversation, please feel free to add them to the live chat on the right. I am very excited to introduce today's guest Dr. Pooja, Lakshman.


Dr. Pooja Lakshman is a psychiatrist New York Times contributor, the founder and CEO of JAMA, the physician led women's health, women's mental health education platform, and the author of a new book entitled real self care. She serves as a clinical assistant professor of psychiatric at George Washington University School of Medicine, and she maintains an active private practice where she treats women struggling with burnout, perfectionism, disillusionment as well as clinical conditions like depression, anxiety and ADHD.
